Club Telemaque beach & spa

The rooms, especially the bathrooms, need renovation, and a kettle in the room would be a nice addition. The restaurant also needs better ventilation, since our clothes and hair smelled strongly of fried food after every meal. Still, we had a good experience. The hotel was very clean throughout and right by the sea. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the entertainment team made our stay more enjoyable. The food quality and variety met our expectations. With a few improvements, this could be excellent. Thank you Telemaque team.

The entertainment was great fun to watch, with excellent staff, and it was easy to get a taxi from the main gate to the main town for around £2. We spent one day on a trip to flamingo island, booked online ourselves for about half the price offered at the hotel tourist desk. We didn't explore much else locally beyond walking along the beach. We were a bit concerned after reading reviews about guests who don't speak French or English, but everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant waiters, bar staff, cleaners and animation team all seemed excited to practise their English haha. Special mention to Seif, who always said hello and checked how we were, even when he wasn't serving our area, and to Willy and Alpha from the animation team. They were lovely too. The whole place had such a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Everything was spotless, including the beach. Our room was comfortable and clean, with fresh water provided regularly. The bathroom could use an update, and our balcony view wasn't great, but neither bothered us. Food was easy as a vegan and vegetarian, with lots of choice. Breakfast was a bit limited for us, but lunch and dinner more than made up for it. There was also plenty of meat and seafood, all of which looked great. I really enjoyed what I ate. Food labels could be better. Some dishes had no label, and some labels weren't translated into English, so allergies could be hard to manage. Otherwise, it was fairly easy to work out what was vegan or vegetarian. Beach towels aren't included: you pay a deposit and get it back when you return the towel. It was fine, but including towels would save the faffing around, as at other hotels we've visited. Some of the entertainment might have lost something in translation and didn't always seem politically correct, though that may just be a cultural difference. The dancing was great and it was really engaging. We had such a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back. I rarely return to the same hotel with so many places to see, but I might make an exception for Telemaque!

I'm 14 and have been to lots of all-inclusive resorts, but this one was the best by far. There's loads to do: the beach, pool, ping-pong, football and tennis, and you can rent quadbikes and jetskis, so you're never bored. The animation team put on activities like darts and football matches, and the food is excellent. The resort and location are amazing, with a beautiful beach and a really clean area.

The beautiful beach had plenty of loungers, and the pool was sufficient. There's no water slide, which suits the quiet atmosphere of the hotel. Food was very good, with a large selection including excellent local dishes. The staff are pleasant and smiley, and we want to come back. At first, we had a persistent problem with the room assigned to us at reception. After some time, we were able to switch rooms, and we appreciate the management's positive response and apology. We've rated the hotel positively from the start, and that resolved the bad part of the stay.
