The animation team deserves a lot of credit. They’re always smiling, happy, and working hard to move the hotel forward. Housekeeping keeps everything spotless while barely being noticed, and most of the service team do their best to be quick and helpful. Management should look after these people. The food is generally good, hygiene is excellent even in the old rooms, and the pools are clean with sunbeds usually available. Reception was the worst part. Beware of scammers: they took money for early check-in and then acted as if it never happened. The whole team was rude and arrogant. They’re the first and last people you deal with, so they affected the whole stay. The spa staff’s English was poor, and they couldn’t explain or present what was on offer. If reception had been better, I’d have given five stars. The entire reception team should be replaced. They act like they work at a roadside hostel, not a four-star resort.

The animation was fun and exciting, and Hakim was the only server we met who was friendly and respectful. He was very nice. But the parties went on until 3 AM, so there was no chance to relax. My boyfriend and I came for our first summer holiday, and we were extremely disappointed. We said hello, please, and thank you, yet staff gave us dirty looks, ignored us, or answered rudely. Tables, napkins, and seats were always dirty. If you didn’t get to the buffet right at the start, there might not be a place to sit, and even when we found one, we were often missing forks, knives, or both. Asking for them didn’t help. One evening we asked five different servers for two glasses of water; each ignored us or sent us to someone else, even though they’d heard us. We never felt welcome. The food was the same every day, boring, and had little choice. The “animation box” was often open with nobody inside, so we either had to wait or leave without borrowing games or tennis equipment. That was annoying. Our bedroom and bathroom were old, with mold in places. The buffet area was unhygienic too. I saw a dead mosquito on a window seat, and four days later it was still there. It looked like no one had cleaned it. The reception was no help when our sink started leaking. We called, were told someone would come, and waited 50 minutes. No one showed up. When I went downstairs, they only then asked for our room number. I mentioned we were going to the pool for a little while since we were leaving the next day, and the receptionist waved me away without looking at me. The whole experience was horrible and uncomfortable. I have nothing positive to say about this hotel.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the whole hotel was spotless. We had a great holiday, with very good food and a wonderful team across reception, the restaurant, animation, and housekeeping. My family and I spent four days here, and all of us enjoyed it. It’s a great hotel and resort, and I loved everything about the stay. I’d give it five stars and we’ll come back again, inshallah.
