Right at the edge of the desert, with good places to eat in town. The place itself has seen better days, though our room was clean and the staff were friendly. The pool wasn’t running during our April visit, but we hadn’t come for that. Breakfast was mediocre. We skipped dinner there since I’m wary of hotel food, and I suspect it wouldn’t have been very good.

The staff were friendly and happy to answer questions, and there’s a little shop for souvenirs. The older man working in the separate shop where you can smoke hash at a good price made my evening. The hotel sits at the desert’s edge and has a beautiful outdoor pool, spacious clean rooms with large bathrooms, and a huge restaurant. Modern, and one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

This hotel isn’t good at all. It’s very dirty.

There was hardly any food to choose from, so I ended up filling up on bread and butter. We couldn’t get ironing facilities, and when I asked for extra towels they refused. Later I was told there were only 10 people staying there. It didn’t feel much like a 4* hotel, especially with so little staff.
