Acqua Viva Village

The pool is lovely, breakfast was delicious, and dinner at the hotel was affordable. My first room, 103, was right by very loud music, so I couldn’t sleep. After I told the receptionist, they moved me after midday to room 12, where it was quiet and I slept well. The beach nearby had almost nobody there, so the location wasn’t great. I’d use Yassir to get into town, it’s like Uber but cash only. Breakfast service stops at 11 a.m. Don’t eat in the room, since cockroaches could show up; staff can give you spray if that happens. Keep those things in mind and you can have a five-star experience.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but people come to a hotel to sleep, and the disco downstairs blasts music until 4 a.m. The walls are thin, so it’s hard to understand why they’d put a disco bar there. My room wasn’t anything special, the TV remote had no batteries, the paint was cracked, and the lift felt scary. Kudos to management. After reading the feedback, I guess I’m stuck here.

The staff were so friendly, and both breakfast and the other food were delicious. My room was lovely and comfortable, with a view over the Gammarth Sea and access to the swimming pool. They cleaned the room every day. A great choice for a summer holiday.

For what I paid, this was a 10 out of 10. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the heating was already on when I checked in on a cold day in December. The shower was very good and breakfast was good too. There’s a busy nightclub downstairs, but I didn’t hear it from my room. Everything worked out really well.
