Rooms are a bit dated, but the people more than make up for that. The staff were so friendly I already want to return, and the service was amazing. The food was made fresh each day and better than at most restaurants. Thank you, sonia, abdulmajid, ravel, siri, and everyone else. We used the spa, where Fafou gave an amazing massage, and enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools. There's a beach five minutes away on foot, with a shuttle running there daily too. The place is large, with local cafés and spots around it, and about a 10-minute drive to medina bazar and marina. The national sports teams were staying here while we were there. Loved it, and we'll be back.

The restaurant had a good variety, and the food was delicious. We also had a great time in the swimming pool, and even the other guests were very nice. The staff were kind and professional throughout. We arrived at 10 AM, and the reception girls gave my mum a room early because she was exhausted. At dinner they surprised her with a birthday celebration and a cake. I was nervous after reading the critical comments, but my opinion completely changed. Have your own experience.

The activities and entertainment, especially for children, were excellent, and the food was tasty with plenty of variety, though it repeated from day to day. The drinks were a major disappointment: squash-style soft drinks, machines that didn't work, tiny cups, and hardly any non-alcoholic choices. Staff seemed careless about spills and presentation, and plastic cups were left all over the beach and sea. Music sometimes continued until 1 a.m., making it hard to sleep. The rooms have a pleasant Tunisian look, but need serious attention. Floors were stained, taps and showers were old, and basic things were missing, including slippers, coffee facilities, and a second glass in our double room. Housekeeping were kind, but didn't have what they needed. Stained sheets and towels were sometimes reused instead of replaced. The money exchange at the hotel almost never had cash and kept telling us to come back later. The shop was overpriced. This wasn't my first choice. My agency cancelled my other bookings, leaving me with no option. I appreciated the welcoming reception and the quick check-in. Still, too many parts of the stay fell short for a hotel claiming to be four-star. It could be great with improvements, but I wouldn't stay again as it is.

The food was inedible. There was even a bug cooked into a dessert, and most days we got the same meals. We felt sick after eating. The hotel was terribly dirty and especially not somewhere to stay with children. I really wouldn't recommend it.

My first visit to Tunisia, in Hammamet, was at Hammamet Garden, and I'd definitely come back and recommend it. The food and drinks were nice, with plenty to eat at all-inclusive, and the chefs deserve a lot of praise. From the porter and receptionists to cleaners, bartenders, and waiters, everyone was polite, welcoming, and helpful from day one, whatever the time. This hotel isn't as bad as many reviews make it sound. You can always find something negative, even in a luxury hotel.
