For a three-star hotel in El Hammet, I thought it was actually really good, and I wish the hotel would listen to people’s opinions and make it better. The staff were the best part for me: very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The pools were especially enjoyable, and the facilities were amazing apart from the elevator and AC, which were terrible. I don’t really understand the bad comments about the food, because I found it quite good. The rooms aren’t perfect, since they’re a little small and could be cleaner, but they’re nowhere near as bad as some people say and didn’t ruin the stay. Honestly, I’m surprised by the low ratings. My experience was much better than I expected.

The one thing going for this place is how close it is to the beach, just 10 metres away. There are plenty of other options in the area, though, so I’d say don’t go here. I spent three days in this so-called hotel and almost everything was a mess, from check-in and the elevator to the room and its balcony view. It was the worst I’ve seen. The hot water was yellow, so we had to shower in cold water, and the bath sink was clogged. The food was awful and the staff weren’t friendly at all. The pools were tiny and seemed full of chemicals, so be careful, especially with kids.

The cooling system was extremely weak and often didn’t work at all. The team didn’t respond to complaints or other issues. Very bad service, and I wouldn’t recommend visiting.

The rooms and pool were dirty, the food was awful, and the water slides were out of order. There was no internet, and the parties at night were so loud you couldn’t sleep. I spent £1000 for ten days. Just all-round awful, don’t go there. I wouldn’t recommend it. Anywhere would be better than that hotel.
