Really quiet, with good service and very friendly people.

Amazing place, and the people are so nice.

The room was beautiful and clean, and so was the bathroom. Breakfast was generous, varied, and excellent. The hostess was wonderful, and the whole home felt elegant, welcoming, and beautifully looked after. It was a magical place and a perfect stay. I’d definitely recommend it, and if I come back to Tunis, I’ll stay there again.

The location is quite isolated, at the end of a dirt road, so having a car seems best for staying here. The pool was green when we arrived, and the woman wasn’t expecting us. We were moved to a lower room than the one we’d booked. My friend and I hadn’t noticed on the Booking.com reservation that payment had to be in cash on arrival. We decided to pay for one night and move to another hotel. The manager took that very badly and seemed unable to understand why we weren’t withdrawing cash from the bank. She came to our room four times, knocking to demand the money and then telling us to cancel the reservation, or we’d have to pay for all three nights. I have a screenshot to prove it, but she wouldn’t budge. She spoke to me in Tunisian Arabic even after I clearly told her I didn’t understand. She was aggressive, so we left that evening. At the car she knocked on the window and accused us of stealing her bath towels, which wasn’t true. We had to go back to the room and show her the torn towels that had been provided for us.
