La Maison Du Golfe Hébergement et Spa

Great.

The owner is a discreet host, but always available to help make your stay pleasant. The staff take great care of guests, and the meals are excellent. This lovely guesthouse has a huge garden with a swing and trampoline for the kids, plus indoor and outdoor pools, a hammam, sauna and jacuzzi. It can host up to five couples with children in some of the large family suites, or suit a couple. We'd be happy to come back.

I was left deeply disappointed by my first visit to this place, which is supposed to be welcoming. We drove 100 km to celebrate our wedding anniversary, only to be turned away because burkinis were prohibited. The ban was posted on the reception wall, but nobody mentioned it on Facebook or when I booked by phone. When I know there’s a burkini ban, I simply go elsewhere, and there are plenty of beautiful places that are more open and respectful. The lack of communication wasted our time and spoiled a celebration we had hoped to enjoy. I’ve never had this happen before. Notices in posters or adverts need to make such rules clear so future guests aren’t inconvenienced. You need to do better.
