Resort Medina Solaria & Thalasso

Traveling on my own, I felt looked after from the moment I arrived. The entertainment team were especially lovely, always checking I was having a good time. One of them spent ages chatting with me about our countries and joking around, and made sure I was okay as a solo traveler. It felt warm and natural. I really liked the relaxed atmosphere, lovely surroundings, spa and salt pool. The cocktails were stronger than I expected, in a good way, and the staff even gave me a playful nickname. A fantastic stay for unwinding and enjoying good energy. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Medina and Thalasso happened unexpectedly, but we were so glad it did. The hotel was spotless and well looked after, and the food was delicious. Everyone was kind, friendly and ready to help. My daughter adored Suma from the entertainment team and still says she misses her. We also want to thank Zouheir in the main restaurant for his kindness and professionalism. We're leaving with lovely memories and would love to return.

We enjoyed the good food, with very good quality, just-right portions, and mostly friendly, professional waiters. The reception team were especially welcoming and professional, and Samir was attentive and always smiling. Still, being charged €70 for a 5:30 AM airport transfer felt overpriced. At the snack area we arrived at 5:10 PM, after it was meant to close at 5:00, but the doors were still open and we hadn't noticed the time. The waiter shouted at us and was very rude instead of explaining politely that it was closed. Completely unnecessary. The person offering massages and hammam treatments kept pressuring guests to book, then acted unpleasantly when politely turned down. The tattoo artist was another disappointment. We paid €30 for two people and were told the tattoos would last 3 weeks, but they disappeared after 3 days. He said he'd redo them for free on our last day, then kept changing direction whenever he saw us 😂 A big thank you to the three entertainment staff, who worked hard and brought lots of energy. It's a nice hotel with good food, a great reception team and wonderful entertainment, though some staff behavior and outside service providers affected our stay.

In Yasmine Hammamet, the location was great for evening walks, with the private beach only a short stroll away. The thalasso area was a lovely place to unwind. Rooms were spacious, clean and had pretty sea or pool views, and the food was varied and tasty. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. A comfortable, peaceful stay, and highly recommended.
