Royal Tulip Taj Sultan

The food service was a disaster, and the experience was hugely disappointing. The meals weren't anywhere near the standard of a five-star hotel, more like three-star at best. Even though it was meant to be a self-service buffet, staff were posted around the room controlling and limiting how much guests could take. Worst experience ever.

The hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable, but the reception service is what really made our stay special. Rabeb looked after us from the moment we arrived. She was professional, helpful, always smiling, and genuinely committed to making sure we were happy. Her warmth really added to the experience, and she's a real asset to the hotel. A wonderful stay, thanks especially to Rabeb and the professional, heartfelt reception team.

The room was spacious, though it could use an upgrade. I came with a tour group and stayed for two nights. It seems like a nice summer resort, and the indoor pool looks promising for winter too.

The private beach was secure, attractive, and well looked after, with good service. The lobby was clean and pleasant, and there were lovely views. My room was very clean, looked out over the Mediterranean Sea, and had fresh towels and bed linens each day. But both of the room's safes were broken. I told reception, and nobody came to fix them. Service inside the hotel was average, and that was a letdown. The food was plentiful but only average for quality and choice, below what I'd expect from a five-star hotel. The main pool was large, clean, and 1.85 metres deep at most. There's also an indoor pool suitable for swimming, with massage and beauty services nearby. Shops and cafés are a five-minute walk away. It takes about 20 minutes on foot to reach the centre of a small town with several shopping and leisure centres. A very good place to rest and relax, though it could still improve.
