Steigenberger Hotel Marhaba Thalasso

The beautiful grounds, excellent pool areas, and range of amenities made this a good place for a family holiday. We stayed a week at the Steigenberger Marhaba and enjoyed much of our time there, though I'd rate it closer to a strong four-star hotel than a true five-star, especially compared with other Steigenberger properties I've visited. The food was generally good, but repeated quite a bit during the week. Our room, 314, had a bathroom floor that leaked whenever we showered. The iron was broken and took three days to replace, and we had to call reception repeatedly for fresh towels. Drinks could also take a long time, and basic requests needed several reminders. Staff were generally polite and friendly, but guests shouldn't have to keep chasing everyday things at a hotel marketed as five-star. Management listened when we raised the problems and offered late checkout as a goodwill gesture. Hafedh at reception, Ahmed at the main pool, and the entertainment team were especially friendly and helpful, and added positively to the holiday.

The staff were all friendly, polite, and very helpful, and the all-inclusive meals had a good variety. We spent ten days in a sea-view bungalow that was a good size and kept very clean. The whole hotel was spotless, with beautiful, immaculate gardens and a large private beach. There were good facilities, and the animation team ran different activities throughout the day. We had a wonderful time.

The location was convenient but still quiet, and the hotel facilities were excellent. My room was spacious, well equipped, and very clean, with a comfortable bed that made it easy to relax after a long day. Breakfast was high quality and offered plenty of variety. From arrival, the staff were professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The whole experience exceeded my expectations, and I'd happily stay again. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, good service, and a pleasant atmosphere.

During my stay at the Steigenberger Hotel, the staff were welcoming and professional, always ready to help with local questions or special requests. The room was spacious, spotless, and nicely designed, with a very comfortable bed, a modern bathroom, quality toiletries, and a lovely walk-in shower. It also had everything I needed, including a minibar and free Wi-Fi. The hotel had a luxurious feel, with attention to detail throughout. Its central location gave me easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shops, while still being suitable for relaxing and exploring the city.
