The hotel has a lovely private beach and a well-kept garden. Security is good, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and there are activities for couples or families. The bedding was clean and comfortable, general hygiene was okay, and the heated pool was very pleasant. For the price, it's a pretty reasonable deal for a modest hotel. The food quality was mediocre and the choices were very limited, with few fruits. The coffee was undrinkable, made with salty-tasting tap water and very bitter robusta. The tea was poor too, and the cocktails need work. With children, it could work for up to 10 days, but plan to take excursions outside the hotel now and then to see something else and, especially, eat well.

The beach was beautiful, very clean, and right below the rooms. We had a pleasant short stay in a magnificent property, with a big central pool and rooms tucked among palm trees and bougainvillea. Everything we needed was there, and the staff deserve special mention for doing all they could to make our stay enjoyable. We'll definitely return!

If you want peace and quiet, this isn't the place. People kept bothering us and trying to get us to take excursion photos, and so on. Where do I even start? Nowhere, really, because this hotel was a disaster and the worst experience of my life.

There was so much to do, from excursions and camel rides to horse-drawn carriage trips, and there's a swimming pool too. The buffet was amazing, with private beach access and separate little houses for each person. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic place for a great vacation, I'd go back!

I spent four enjoyable weeks there over Christmas and New Year's in 2010. Everything was fantastic, and the meals had plenty of variety. Even in a Muslim country, they had a live nativity scene. The young entertainers were very kind. Maybe we'll go back someday.
