The animators were the highlight, working hard and staying friendly while putting on shows and activities every day. There was no chance to get bored. The rooms were clean, the people were nice, and the food had a great range. It’s the best hotel I’ve stayed at so far, and I travel a lot.

The rooms were clean, but the AC only ran from 14:00 to 17:00 and again from 22:00 to 6:00. Without it, the room gets too hot. Food was fine and changed daily, with a good choice, though the baguettes were stale. Service was good, everyone was very nice, and reception was easy to deal with. Managers, please respect the quiet. Pool music blasts for 10 hours a day when it could just be used for activities and then switched off. The kids’ evening entertainment is also way too loud and can be heard all over the hotel. That would be an easy fix.

The food and drinks were the strongest point. With the all-inclusive setup, there was plenty to eat, including hot vegetables, different meats, side dishes, desserts, watermelon, and ice cream. We stayed a week as a family of four from the Czech Republic, July 28 to August 3, 2024, at the **** Zephir Hôtel & Spa. It’s a complex of connected two-story buildings, some overlooking the sea. The outdoor pool is nicely shaped and surrounded by well-kept palm trees, and the grounds lead straight to a beautiful sandy beach with free umbrellas and sunbeds. We had two double rooms about 80 m apart. Both had balconies with a table, chairs, and a small swimsuit dryer, and the beds were comfortable. The small absorption fridges were old and partly moldy. One wouldn’t close when we arrived, and after reception did nothing for two days, I removed the obstruction myself. The central AC was switched off around 5:30 every morning and didn’t come back until after noon. In the high season, with temperatures of 35-41 °C in the shade, we would not have chosen the hotel had we known. The heated building woke us early in sweat. I don’t understand why they couldn’t leave the AC on until breakfast started at 6:30, when guests were clearly still in their rooms. The reception and large lobby weren’t air-conditioned either. In the restaurant, AC worked only some days and then very weakly. For the first two days, the room AC cooled well whenever it was switched on centrally, but for the remaining five days the cooling was reduced, leaving the rooms around 27 °C with humidity everywhere. There was nowhere to escape the heat. Reception didn’t help with the AC issue and said the manager decided when it would start.

The views were lovely, the receptionists friendly, the rooms clean, and the food tasty. The decor had an artistic feel to it.
