Hôtel Archipel

I booked this hotel after it looked promising online, because I’d invited friends to Tunisia. Their stay was disappointing. They found some basic things missing, including an iron, and some power outlets didn’t work. Several lights between reception and the rooms were out too. The security guard at the entrance was the biggest problem. He argued with visitors, acted aggressively, and swore at them. It felt very unprofessional and left my friends uncomfortable and unsafe. Since it was their first time in Tunisia, the experience gave them a bad impression.

We felt so welcome throughout our week here. Everyone was kind and attentive, and the restaurant staff kept our drinks topped up without us needing to ask. The Tunisian food was delicious and authentic each day. Our room was cleaned daily, with flowers left on the bed, and they offered fresh ones for the room as well. The pool area is spacious and has a bar that’s great for relaxing. A handy path leads from the hotel straight to the beach, where there are sun loungers. Thanks, hotel Archipel, for such a lovely stay.
