Hotel Dar el Bhar

We wanted somewhere quiet, and this hotel was just right. Everyone on staff was friendly, and we thought the place was awesome. If we come back, we'll stay here again!

We had a spacious, clean, and comfortable room, and breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. There was a kettle and tea in the room, though no coffee. The hotel has its own beach with loungers, and we spent two lovely days enjoying the sun, sea, and sand. On arrival, a friendly receptionist showed us around and offered us a drink while checking that everything was ready. The staff were all helpful and did their best to make us feel at home. Dinner options were a bit limited, and we ended up at the bar by the pool, where everyone was smoking. That was a downside, but we will definitely come back.

The beach was really relaxing, and we got an upgrade to a suite with an amazing ocean view. The staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful, definitely 10/10 for service. The bar music was very loud and went on until 2am, though to be fair they turned it down a little when I asked. Breakfast was okay but could be better quality, and the bed wasn't especially comfortable. Keep up the good service 😊.

The room was spacious, and I loved the big balcony with its fantastic sea view. The food wasn't great and felt expensive, for example, a risotto with small shrimps cost 38 dinar. The staff were nice, but didn't know much about regional travel and sent me to the wrong bus station. Music from the hotel bar was really loud from evening until midnight.
