Djerba Resort

There was a good range of food, with local dishes and options for different dietary needs. The hotel also had several pools and bars with free drinks, plus a free shuttle to its nearby beach. At the beach, parasols, chairs, and a bar were included, which was a nice extra. In the evenings there was a DJ and dancing around the pool for kids and adults. We stayed for a week without any hassles. The rooms were spacious, and the air conditioning kept them comfortable, though it wasn’t especially powerful in the high outdoor temperatures. Service was friendly and, while there’s room to improve, I thought it was a good hotel and would recommend it.

The garden was beautiful, and the activities were fun for everyone. The animators were great, especially RIU. The whole place was very clean, and the housekeeping ladies deserve a medal. Bartenders always made exactly what we asked for. Dinner could use more choices for children, and the grilled food was a letdown for me, sometimes undercooked and sometimes overdone. The beach was pleasant for walks, with a little train running along it. There was some seaweed, but it didn’t bother us too much.

It’s a pleasant spot for some quiet time or a bit of fun, with lovely gardens around the pool. I did miss having a gym, since I like to work out while on vacation.

I spent a week here and would definitely come back. The service, rooms, food, everything felt right, and the staff paid attention to all the little things. They were always smiling even when things were moving fast and they were busy. This was my first time in djerba, and I’m absolutely returning to this hotel. Thanks for everything.
