Les Jardins De Toumana

A peaceful, relaxing place to stay, close to the beach and with a nice pool. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily, and the waiters are friendly. Breakfast has freshly made omelettes or pancakes alongside the usual buffet of fruit and other things.

The apartment had basic cutlery and utensils, though we didn't need them, and it may have been cleaner if it had been reopened after winter. Breakfast was okay, but the fruit could have been fresher, and birds shouldn't be allowed inside. I also couldn't get in touch before the trip, as they didn't seem to read messages through booking.com or their website. There were good points too: WiFi worked perfectly for remote work at around 30-50mbps, and the place was super quiet. The pool area was nice, the beach was very close, and there were two supermarkets opposite. Breakfast omelettes and pancakes were cooked fresh, and the apartment was cleaned daily. Good value for money. I'd give it 4.5 stars.

We came for the beach, and it was lovely: clean, private, and with free umbrellas. The hotel was quiet and well organized too. Our room was spacious and clean, with good room service, and we ate well at the restaurant. There’s a nice pool beside it. The WiFi was patchy but usable. I’d happily come back.

I left after two nights and found a better hotel. The room was boiling hot, and the staff were very rude, especially Jamal. They never greeted us. I was also charged city tax for an extra night even though I wasn’t there. I’ve been traveling around Tunisia for nearly a month, and this has been the worst hotel so far, with the rudest staff.
