Dar Said

My room was beautiful and super cosy, and the garden is gorgeous. It’s really quiet here, so the place feels peaceful. There were a few issues, though. The shower pipe leaked, and extras like soda or water cost more. They only provide breakfast. The location isn’t good for people with disabilities or older people who have trouble getting around. There’s no lift, and nobody helped with the luggage, so I had to carry it downstairs myself.

We stayed here in early August, and the pool was a nice, quiet spot to relax. They also offered drink service by the pool. There’s a garden terrace where you can sit on the lawn and look out over Sidi Bou Said. The location is very central, with plenty of food options close by, including a nice dinner place just across the street. Check-in was quick and easy. Our room was really nice, and unlike the other hotels we stayed at in Tunisia, it actually got cold and stayed that way. We really enjoyed our visit and would stay again. I highly recommend Dar Said Hotel for a trip to Tunisia.

Completely ridiculous. The security guard refused to let me in for no valid reason and acted like he owned the place. He was arrogant and rude, and I’ve never been treated with such disrespect. If this is how people are treated, the staff and priorities need a serious rethink. Total disgrace.

We loved the quiet pool area and the garden looking out over the sea. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully furnished, and everything was spotlessly clean. This luxury dar is right in the centre of Sidi Bou Said old town, with lovely decor, lots of character, and a beautiful fragrance throughout. The service was excellent.
