Golden Carthage Hotel Tunis

I've stayed at the hotel twice and liked it. The location is nice, and the people waiting outside by the entrance were friendly. My problem was specifically with the man at the baggage check inside, whose security manner felt harsh and wasn't to my taste. Aside from that, it's a nice hotel.

We'd booked a room for a very special guest visiting from Germany, but couldn't pay online because the website had no payment option. He arrived at night, and there was nobody available to look after him, so we assumed, as at other hotels, that we could pay the next day. They wouldn't let him in or help with online payment, and they also refused a bank transfer. They wouldn't even pass a simple message to our guest. The worst hotel experience. I don't recommend it.

The staff were kind and helpful, but the place itself was dirty, smelled bad, and looked really old. I didn't like it at all. The carpet looked like it might not have been changed in more than five years. It needs a lot of improvement.

I really liked the Golden Carthage Hotel in Tunis. It was clean and nice, and I'd recommend staying there. I also had a massage and a facial cleansing. Rasha, who works hard and is very clever, did those treatments. I recommend the hotel and getting a massage and facial cleansing there.
