There was a broken bed in the room, and loud noise outside all night. Things had already gone badly at check-in: the manager demanded a printed voucher even though I had it on my phone. They had a printer right there, but wouldn’t print it and called me impolite. I had to call the travel agency I’d booked with and complain before they let me in. Then we went out to dinner and came back to find someone had been in our room and left dirty underwear in the bathroom. A terrible experience. Run!

The staff were welcoming and polite, and the rooms were clean with good air conditioning and a simple design. It has all the basics. For the price, it’s the best value around. I stayed one night and would definitely recommend it.

The hotel is close to Sousse’s distinctive, lovely shoreline, which is a good spot for sunbathing.
