The lobby and outdoor areas were clean, but the standard rooms were poorly maintained, and we found cockroaches in the bathroom at night. Fresh towels came daily, but the room only got a full clean if you specifically asked. The food was average and repetitive after a couple of days. Finding a place to sit was annoying too, since guests reserved tables and pool chairs with books or cigarette packs. The hotel's so-called 5-star rating is misleading. An African 5★ is nowhere near Western 5★ standards. At check-in, there's a city tax, which ends up higher because of the hotel's inflated 5★ status. You're probably better off with a 3-star hotel that has higher reviews, which may be cleaner and more comfortable. If you stay here, try asking for an upgrade. The nearby Iberostar Selection is a better option if you can spend a bit more. Tunisia's 5★ hotels don't match European standards, so check reviews before booking. Explore local places like Sousse town centre for a more authentic, affordable experience, since prices there are much better than in tourist resort areas. For taxis, the inDrive app is up to 60% cheaper than the taxis waiting outside the resort. Stay away unless you have absolutely no other option.

The housekeepers, both men and women, were wonderful and so kind. The hotel itself was stunning, spotless, and welcoming, and every interaction with the team made us feel valued and well looked after. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail really stood out. My husband and I stayed here two weeks ago, and it was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, staff were lovely, helpful, and genuinely kind. The pool was amazing, and the food was basic but nice enough. The entrance looks very modern, while the rooms are old fashioned but still nice. For what you pay, this hotel is well worth the money. The cleaners, entertainment staff, and front desk team were all friendly. I'd definitely recommend it at this price.
