Hotel Les Palmiers

Filthy bathrooms and rooms, and no AC on a hot, humid day. Disgusting place, nothing good about it. Avoid.

The atmosphere is peaceful at certain times of day, and it’s easy enough to get to. The place is well kept and gives you a sense of the region’s culture and authenticity. It’s beautiful, with plenty of history and charm, and well worth the trip. I’d recommend visiting if you’re passing through the area.

The breakfast was very poor, worth no more than 1.5 dinars per person. In the room, the mattress was hard and uncomfortable, the air conditioning was broken, and the outlet near the bed didn’t work. It was very dirty, with no hygiene at all, and the toilet smelled unpleasant. A stay to avoid at all costs.

The view was decent, and there’s a restaurant. Prices are reasonable, with excellent service and quick phone booking. Wi-Fi is free and fast, though you have to stay in the waiting room to connect.
