Hotel Marabout - Families and Couples Only

I stayed at marabout hotel from 1st to 4th May 2026. It's a hotel for couples, but the room had two separate beds. They also asked for a 40 dinar deposit to get the TV remote. Dinner was less than correct. On the first night, the main dish was small turkey meat with bones that you had to fight to eat. The other nights were about 3/5, nothing special. Restaurant staff spent much of their time talking, and one person yelled at guests for being disorganized, even though organizing things is the hotel's responsibility. I noticed that if you're a foreign beautiful girl, you might get a little better treatment, with an extra staff member asking for your phone number. Drinks aren't included with dinner, not even water. Very disappointing experience. The restaurant staff especially need to learn how to be friendly and respectful with guests. They didn't seem professional.

This is a weak hotel, three stars at most. It's old, and the rooms get cleaned at 3 points. The dining room dishes are broken. When I asked for a fork and spoon, they just wiped them with a napkin and handed them over. Check and observe if you're staying there. Everything is greasy and dirty everywhere, even with a dirty rag used on both the table and floor 😆😆😆 Peace to everyone at the hotel!

The hotel is really bad. There are no servers, the Wi-Fi is bad, and there's no activity. It's the same food every day, and there's no disco for dancing. You can only go outside, so if it's windy or raining, it's all in your face.

DON'T TRUST THESE GUYS DON'T TRUST THEIR TRIPS We complained to another guy about how different the trip was, and they told us they'd fired him just to satisfy us. I'm sure they didn't, though. He was just dismissed for the days we were there.
