My room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with amazing views, and I enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The hotel is stylish and budget friendly, and the staff were accommodating and helped make my stay enjoyable. I’d read the negative feedback but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt, and I’m glad I did.

The grounds are beautiful and the location is great, but the room was dirty, as was the shower. The mattress and pillows felt like they were made from old newspapers, and the included breakfast was barely edible. This place could be incredible if they put money into upkeep and food instead of trying to maximize profit.

MIMOSA HOTEL has a lovely historic character and a prime spot in the heart of the city. Sadly, the room condition let it down. I found ants, and cleanliness overall wasn’t up to standard. Breakfast was limited and short on both variety and quality. The building and its history give it real potential. A thorough renovation of the rooms and facilities, better cleanliness, updated interiors, and a stronger breakfast could make a big difference to the guest experience. With that work, it could become a comfortable place that also preserves its historic appeal.

The views and flowers and gardens are the only good things here. The bathroom needs major maintenance, and the air conditioning controls don’t work properly, so you can’t really set the temperature. The water supply is unreliable and sometimes barely works. The pool was extremely dirty, with literally white water, and it wasn’t being pumped or filtered. You can’t swim in it. The food was horrible too. After serving me raw pizza, they brought a piece of biscuit with toppings. The hotel needs maintenance. With work and professionalism, the place could be heaven, but I’m still not going back.
