Dar Daniella - Small Design Luxury Hotel

The location made it easy to get to the city center and port, with plenty of places to eat and explore nearby. Still, what I’ll remember most is how warm everyone was. The owner and his son, his family, and the other guests were all kind, and we had some really meaningful conversations. From our arrival, it felt personal, like we were being welcomed into something, not just checked in. The house is beautifully decorated and full of charm, with a breathtaking view. There’s a calm, positive feeling throughout that lifted my spirits. I left feeling lighter, peaceful, grateful, and truly happy. I’ll definitely come back for the place, the people, and that unforgettable warmth.

We had a good breakfast both mornings, the staff were incredibly kind, and the rooms were clean. One of the shower rooms did have some black insects, but they didn’t bother us much. There are some good places to eat in Taberka, and the little town’s lovely fortress is worth a visit. We’d come back for sure. We booked the dar through Trip.com, but the booking details didn’t reach Dar Daniella, so they hadn’t expected us. The owner was very understanding and made up for it by giving us two separate accommodations.

The house has a lovely view and was very clean. It feels mystical, and the bungalow was perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet. There are several suites too. A private set of stairs leads down to the Esplanade, which is a real bonus. The host and staff were professional. I’d call this the best place to stay near downtown and the marina, and rate it 11 out of 10.
