My first guesthouse stay felt warm and safe, more like being at home. Everyone welcomed me with a smile and made the trip perfect. I can't put into words how beautiful and amazing the place is. I'll definitely stay again.
The location worked perfectly for me, halfway between the La Marsa shoreline and the views of Sidi Bou Saïd. There's a medical clinic right across the street in case of illness or an accident. Taxis were easy to get through InDrive or Yassir. If you don't have a local number, Yassir lets you use WhatsApp. Street taxis are possible too, though I've previously been scammed by drivers with rigged meters. I had stayed at Dar Ennassim before and was glad to find it just as satisfactory this time. The included breakfast was even better, and my Hannibal room was spacious and very comfortable. For a vintage building, it had most of the conveniences of a modern hotel room: efficient HVAC, TV, Wi-Fi, Nespresso, kettle, hairdryer, safe, desk, and outlets by the bed. I didn't want for anything. Taieb and his team looked after me from arrival to departure. The taxi pickup they'd arranged at TUN was waiting when I came out of baggage claim, right on time, and the whole process was seamless. If you're new to Tunis, I recommend staying here. It's a nice neighborhood, and Taieb or someone on the team can help you discover what the city has to offer.
The Host Family made us feel at home, like we were with close friends. The breakfast was delicious, generous, and charming. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable, and decorated wonderfully. The whole stay was lovely, and it was the best experience I could have asked for.
We stayed two nights in this beautiful house and would gladly return if we get the chance. The owner and staff were all very friendly, and it was lovely to meet the owner's mother, miss Sonia. She was a sweetheart and took good care of us, especially at breakfast. The house has several levels, each feeling like a little piece of history. It's very artistic and gives you a sense of Tunisia's past. The location in La Marsa is hard to beat, with almost everything within walking distance. Five stars, highly recommended.
It's a family-run property converted into a hotel, with 11 rooms, each with a private bathroom, plus a shared breakfast area. The family is kind and very helpful, and they take good care of the place. Breakfast is homemade, fresh, and delicious. They also gave me a complimentary ticket to Dar El Annabi Museum at Sidi Bosaeeed. Be prepared to pay cash, as they don't accept credit cards.
