The reception staff were so cheerful, friendly, and ready to help. Mohamed, Bilal, Shaker, Hamaiz, and Seif especially made my stay memorable. They also understood my Egyptian dialect perfectly, alongside speaking Arabic, English, French, and other languages. On checkout day, they let me leave my bag and food at reception so I could walk around Sidi Bou Said without carrying them. I came back at 17:00 and sat in reception. I really enjoyed my short, one-night stay. The double room was clean and comfortable, with picture decorations, though it could have been a little bigger. I liked the charming balcony, the hotel's decorations, and all the furnished places to sit outside near the entrance and pool or inside reception. The pool was large and deep, and kept clean even in winter. There was a sea view from reception, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast had limited choices. Maybe I arrived too late, though I was there at 09:20, and breakfast runs from 07:00 to 10:00. I loved staying here 🤗

I expected much better, especially given how beautiful la marsa is. After one day I wanted to go home. The smells and dirty pool were bad, and the shower was worse: the head came off, there was hair everywhere, and the curtains were dirty. After a day at the beach, we were hoping for a decent shower, but that didn't happen. I really wouldn't recommend this hotel. Don't spoil your holiday by staying here.

The location is amazing and the place has a lot of potential, but these problems spoiled the experience. The card machine was supposedly broken, so they made me pay cash. They said the price was cheaper than Booking.com, but I actually paid more at the desk. The breakfast was the same every day, with very poor quality food and mostly sugary options. There was beach sand in the bedroom blankets, and they never replaced them during my five-day stay. A kind woman at reception suggested a nice place for tea, but then she had an incident with the other man. I understood enough Arabic to follow what happened. He wanted me to buy something inside the restaurant, but I didn't want to stay there.

The location is lovely and the price was good, but the room needed work. We arrived to find a hairball in the shower, and the room window faced the hallway, so lights switching on and off and people's voices kept bothering us at night. One night, a loud party downstairs went on past midnight and kept us awake. The heater couldn't be adjusted and made the room too hot, so we had to use the air conditioning to cool it down. The TV, fridge, and one light didn't work. Service and breakfast were both just average. The place needs some work overall.

The room was in terrible shape, extremely dirty and poorly maintained, well below basic standards for cleanliness and comfort. At this three-star hotel in Tunis, the reception staff were unfriendly and made odd, uncomfortable requests. It felt unprofessional and unwelcoming, especially as a tourist. It didn't feel like even a one-star hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it.
