Dar Dorra gave me excellent value for money. I booked a single room for three nights, and it was spacious enough for one person, with a new, very clean bathroom. The hotel is beautifully decorated. Dar Jeld and Dar Dorra share the main facilities, including the entrance, reception, restaurant, and spa, while the room at Dar Dorra cost less. I also had breakfast and a late lunch at the rooftop restaurant. Both the food and service were good, and the view across the whole Medina was amazing. You’re right in the heart of the Medina, so it’s easy to explore on foot. I used the hotel’s airport transfer for €20 each way. It cost a bit more than a public taxi, but I was very pleased with the convenience and service. Highly recommended!

The breakfast buffet had a great range to choose from, and the hotel was quiet, spotless, and relaxing. We stayed at Da Dorra for three nights in a beautiful, authentic space decorated with typical Tunisian tiles and decor. It’s inside the Medina, within walking distance of all the major sights.

Starting our vacation here was amazing. Dar Dorra, part of Dar El Jeld, is a beautiful, luxurious place, and we’d highly recommend it, even when traveling with a toddler.

The room was small, but tastefully furnished, with a very comfortable bed. Complimentary dates and chocolates were a lovely extra. The rooftop restaurant service was a little inattentive from one of the servers, at least for me, but the food and overall experience were fantastic. This beautiful maison d’hotes feels like a calm refuge inside the busy medina. It offers the five-star service of its more luxurious sister Dar el Jelb, and guests get to use the lovely courtyard and rooftop restaurant. My room wasn’t as spacious as one at Dar el Jelb, but I still enjoyed the same lifestyle.
