The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, and the whole house has a quiet, authentic feel. Breakfast was prepared with care, and the team were warm and ready to help. Willy, the owner's sweet dog, brought a lovely, cheerful presence to the place. Dar Souad felt personal and comfortable from the start, and I’d gladly return or recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, animal-friendly stay in La Marsa.

What makes this hotel special is how much care they show you. It felt like a home away from home, and the home-cooked Tunisian meals were better than any restaurant I found in Tunisia. The peaceful courtyard and distinctive rooms are beautifully designed, with decor that reflects the owners' taste and feels unlike anywhere else. One of the best places I’ve stayed, and a real treat for the soul.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the owners and team are doing a fantastic job. The cat and dog who live there were an extra treat for me since I love animals and missed my own dog. We spent each evening in the ground-floor lounge areas, chatting about the day; they felt homey and comfortable. The pool area was lovely, though it wasn't quite swimming weather during our stay. Our room had the amenities I needed and a comfortable bed, so I slept well every night. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and dinner one night was just as good. I highly recommend this boutique hotel and would happily stay again.
