Downtown Tunis Hotel

The room was clean, but that was about all I could say in its favor. The place felt more like a dorm than a hotel. Twice I came back late at night and found there was no water in the room. Both times they refused to give me a bottle because “the bar was closed,” even though I could see water was available. I had to go out after midnight to look for water elsewhere. Breakfast was included, but extremely poor. At 9:45, with breakfast ending at 10, almost everything was gone. No one greeted me, and coffee cost extra. The worst part was reception. I gave calm, constructive feedback and the receptionist answered arrogantly and aggressively: “It’s a two-star hotel, what do you expect?” She then openly said the owner knew about the problems and they didn't care about clients because the hotel was always full. That attitude says it all. Clean room, zero hospitality. My worst experience ever. Not recommended.
