The staff were super nice, and the place was very clean and well maintained. It's not right in the city center, but the price makes up for that, especially for a hotel. Some people mention noise, and that's true, particularly in rooms facing the main street. The windows don't seem suited to that spot, so some noise gets through. I'll mention it to the staff, since adding some kind of seal might be a quick way to muffle it. Still, I'd definitely recommend the place.

The restaurant is beautifully and tastefully decorated, and the manager and staff were kind and helpful. It's easy to get to by taxi or train, and handy for shops, cafés, restaurants, and a walk to the old town and historic Bab-Sweeka streets. The train line nearby brings noise, though, and the Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

At checkout they asked me for a 15 dinner tax that hadn't been included in my Booking.com bill. This felt like a scam.

The staff were so friendly and always willing to help. It's good value for money, and transport is easy. I'd definitely recommend it for a break in Tunis.
