The staff were respectful, but the room smelled bad, especially the bathroom, which was in very poor shape. Given the price, I found the stay disappointing and not worth the cost.

The receptionist, a woman, was extremely rude to my mother, and that made the stay unpleasant right from the start. The room was also dirty and outdated, nowhere near what we'd experienced on earlier visits. We'd had much better stays here before, so the decline in both service and quality was a real disappointment. After looking around, we found better hotels nearby with cleaner, more modern rooms at the same price or less. I wouldn't recommend this place unless management fixes these problems and brings back the level of service we used to get.

The online photos gave a completely misleading picture. What we found was much worse, and the whole stay left me with a bad impression of the hotel and the country. I wouldn't recommend this place. Before arriving, I called to confirm my booking, but the person who answered was rude and unprofessional. That worried me, but I went ahead hoping things would improve. At the hotel, the staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming, with no sense of hospitality. As someone visiting Tunisia for the first time, that was especially disheartening. The room was in terrible condition. The sink was blocked, the sheets were dirty and torn, and the furniture was old and damaged. In the July heat there was no fridge, and they hadn't even left a bottle of water. Nobody came to clean the room or replace the towels during the two days we were there.

Lots of shops, cafes, and markets are just a 2-3 minute walk away, and the location is prime. The hotel was very clean and tidy overall. The bathroom needs some attention, though. The shower wasn't great, and neither was the toilet, lol.
