We booked at the last minute, and this place came through for us. It was really neat and clean, and the simple rooms were comfortable. We’ll book again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the central location puts attractions and restaurants within walking distance. My room was clean, with working 24-hour air conditioning. Breakfast was simple: toast, eggs, coffee, and fresh fruit. Hotel Nukualofa has the laid-back feel of the island. It looks as if it was built in the 60s and never updated, with bare bulbs hanging from ceilings, glass-barred sectional windows, and pipes sticking out of the walls.

The staff were friendly, but the rooms felt dark and worn down. Breakfast was poor, and getting into the hotel means climbing stairs, which isn’t convenient with heavy luggage.

The staff were very friendly, and having someone available around the clock made late check-in and check-out easy. The air conditioning worked really well in the heat, and the shower had good hot water. Room condition and facilities were average. Breakfast was just toast, a few slices of watermelon, and coffee, so don’t expect much. For the price, it felt a bit lacking.
