Breakfast is included, and you can choose what time it's served. The reception made us feel like family, as though they were expecting us and were glad to welcome us. Service was wonderful too. When we found a flat tire on our rental, they even came out to help me put the duster your on it. The rooms were large, clean, and well kept. Bathrooms were also large, with new fixtures, and there was a smart TV and refrigerator in the room. The sunrise Resort is a great little hotel right on the bay. Trust your maps program to get there: turn off the highway onto a dirt drive and follow it about 300-400 yards. Go through the large gate into the parking area, then look for the dirt trail at the far left corner. Follow it around the back to the main office.

The staff are great and can help arrange transport, like a taxi. As a visitor, you'll probably need to rent a car to get around.

Salome is a great hostess, and the service was great. The rooms were clean and the price reasonable. A great place to spend a holiday in Tonga, highly recommend.

The sunset view was beautiful, and the hotel had everything I wanted: quiet rooms, fast WiFi, AC, modern fixtures, and big bathrooms. It’s probably the closest you’ll find to an American-style hotel in Tonga. Getting there can be confusing, though. You need to go around the building to reach the parking lot. It’s a good distance from downtown, close enough to get there easily but out of the thick of things. You’ll need a car to explore, and if you don’t usually drive on the left, it takes some getting used to. Still doable. Have fun!
