The view was amazing, which helped make up for the room being so small, with a very low ceiling. The hotel is close to the lake, and the surrounding area has plenty of restaurants and shops, though there’s no restaurant at the hotel itself. The receptionist was really nice and helpful.

The room we got was on the side, with a decent view, and we were told that the river-view room we’d booked didn’t exist. It also wasn’t king-sized as described in the pictures and details. There was no AC, and it was very hot that day and night, so sleeping was really hard. The room was missing basic things like a kettle, tea, coffee, water, and even drinking glasses. We needed glasses for a drink and to sterilize our baby’s bottles without a kettle. We asked for hot water, but it never came. On the good side, the bed was decent, the property is close to the lake and across from the river, and the staff were courteous and helpful. I also appreciated that the qibla direction for prayers was clearly marked, something I rarely see in rooms in Turkey.

For what we paid, the rooms really weren’t worth it. There were patches on the walls that clearly needed repair, and the toilets lacked hygiene, with algae in the corners and on the outer wall inside the room. Insects were everywhere, probably because the windows had no insect screens. The rooms were very cramped. Cooking smells drifted in from the nearby restaurants, and the suite had just one tiny window, which wasn’t enough ventilation. There were no extractor fans in the toilets, and sound carried so much between rooms that there was no privacy. We stayed two nights and didn’t get any cleaning or fresh sheets or towels. When we asked for an extra sheet, pillow, or cover, some staff, especially the Arabic speakers, were rude and sarcastic. No extra beds or sheets were available either. We didn’t enjoy the visit and wouldn’t recommend it.

The hotel is near Uzungöl lake, and our room was clean. The staff were friendly and really kind. Highly recommend it 👍🏻😍💕
