The view is really good, but the way the young man handling guests and payments treated me means I won’t return. I’d already paid half in advance, yet he insisted I pay the rest immediately the next day, before my stay for that day was over. I’d also told him I’d arrive on the last ferry, but still got a bad attitude when I came in at night, as I’d mentioned. It felt like managing a hostel where guests aren’t trusted. Hotels normally take full payment after checkout, but apparently they do things differently here.

The room was cold, the doors were hard to close, and the shared bathroom was quite uncomfortable. Even with that magnificent view after a 15-minute climb, the rooms felt far from comfortable, almost frightening. The house needs renovation. Such a shame, given the view.

Ms. Nefise made us feel so welcome with her warm smile, attentiveness, and lovely conversation. It felt like staying with family, and we were so pleased that we added another day. The view was beautiful too. I’ll definitely stay here again when I return to the island. ❤️🌹

The view was great, but the room was a mess. There was a muddy pool, and the balcony was so untidy that we had to pick up the table and chairs from the floor. Under the beds were piles of dust and clumps of hair. They made us leave our shoes downstairs and use plastic slippers, which made me think, welcome, fungal infection! :( The furniture was yellowed, broken, and smelly, and incense and air freshener had been used everywhere to cover the odor. The sheets were bright yellow and smelled bad, and the pillows were matted from use.

We stayed for three days, and I’m thinking of going back. The owners were so kind and friendly, and I especially want to thank Ms. Nefise for her hospitality and care. Both the evening scenery and waking up to views of Istanbul and the sea were wonderful.
