Sevtekin Suit Apart

The rooms are covered in mold. Every evening, there’s a constant clapping sound, and a woman keeps screaming “ah oh.” Don’t come here.

It’s centrally located, close to hospitals, and affordable. I stayed here with friends two weeks ago during the pandemic, and we found the rooms and facilities clean. The staff were helpful and friendly, so it felt like good value for the money. Thanks to Mr. Serkan at reception.

After staying in the same room for days with my two children, I asked if we could move and was scolded, told we couldn’t change rooms whenever we liked. There was just one cleaner, and the room wasn’t cleaned properly. I checked under the beds and sofas, and there was no disinfection, even during the virus outbreak. The cleaners were shouting, and they brought dirty glasses as if mocking me. For the first day they gave me a small room because none of the available rooms were ready, so I changed rooms once. After that, even across the different rooms I stayed in, no cleaning was done. I offered to clean myself and asked for supplies, but they never brought any. Since I couldn’t go to the market early while my children slept, I asked them to add extra tea and sugar to the bill. The woman who came to help was rude and said long-stay guests bring their own sugar, though that’s normally forbidden. When my room was changed, I left behind my perfume and a full bottle of raki. They said they must have thrown them out. I asked to check, and somehow they’d thrown out my new perfume and set. It was ridiculously cheap, practically theft. Staff were rude even when I asked simple questions. On my last night, a man upstairs was screaming, “Don’t hit me!” and nobody downstairs helped or called the police. I stayed a week with my children, and the whole experience was awful. I’ve since come to Life Apart. People who know it will know all the furniture, staff, and owners have changed. I hope Sevtekin changes the same way. Choose Life Apart instead: it’s new, clean, friendly, and has brand-new furnishings. They make you feel like a customer, with a smile instead of a scolding.

I’d been a customer for years, but I won’t return to Sevtekin. After falling from a height, I arrived by ambulance, and we chose to stay again because the hospital was nearby. They knew what I was going through, but wouldn’t even give me a spare key for my door, which kept moving and closing. The rooms smelled bad too. They knew I couldn’t walk without at least one person helping me, yet they only seemed interested in money and didn’t care about a longtime customer. I left the apartment the next day and moved elsewhere. Never again.
