Oba Cave Hotel

We'd happily come back with the family. The prices were very reasonable, and the hotel was both beautiful and clean. It's close to the main sights, and you could even walk to Göreme if you wanted. The staff were so kind and helpful, arranging our morning trips to see the balloons and the panorama. Breakfast was tasty and filling.

My fiancée and I stayed at Oba hotel a few days ago and really enjoyed our time. The owner, mr Ismail, and his son gave us such a warm welcome and helped us out so much, it felt like family. Our queen room was huge, with a private pool filled with warm water, which we loved. Breakfast had a comforting, home cooked taste too. It made me realize how much of a difference it makes when a hotel is run by the owner and family. My fiancée says we should come back one day. Ortahisar and especially Oba hotel won us over. Thanks for such a good stay, keep up the great work!

We stayed three nights and four days in room 101 for our honeymoon. It came with a pool, Turkish bath, and jacuzzi, and everything we needed was there. The pool and room were both warm; when we asked to turn up the pool temperature, the owners took care of it right away. They were attentive and friendly, and the breakfast each morning was delicious with lots of variety. We were impressed by how quiet the hotel felt. Since it was winter, we assumed it might be nearly empty, but were surprised to see so many people at breakfast. There are great restaurants just a two minute walk away for dinner, and most attractions are a ten to fifteen minute drive. A peaceful, quiet, luxurious holiday spot.

We had a lovely winter break in room 101 and left very happy, even with our three year old along. The owners, Mr. Ismail and Mr. Muzaffer, deserve thanks. The rooms, heating, and amenities were excellent, with lots of thoughtful touches. Because of the pool, the room was naturally humid, so we tried to keep things manageable with the dehumidifier. Breakfast was a favorite: not the usual buffet piled high with low quality items, but a small selection of good things. I paid attention to the brands, and everything they cooked or prepared was homemade. We would gladly stay longer next time and recommend coming with complete peace of mind.
