Ikbal Thermal Hotel & Spa

The bed was comfortable and the food was good, but we won’t stay here again. The service felt unfriendly, and our room smelled of smoke. The private bath was dirty, and its jet was just a hole in the wall that made an extremely loud noise, so it was hardly relaxing. We’d stayed several years ago and enjoyed it, but this time it felt like things had gone downhill. What a shame.

Right in the middle of the beautiful Forium shopping center, this is a strong choice for a family holiday with kids. The cleanliness, design, service, pool, and food are all top quality. I highly recommend it.

We’d happily come back. The staff were all pleasant, the rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. There’s a lovely designer outlet shopping center right beside the hotel, with direct access through the pool doors. We enjoyed the food too, and there’s plenty to choose from in the thermal pools and regular swimming pools, along with a steam room and sauna.

The spa and thermal water facilities made this feel like a real getaway, even on a one-day stay. Hacer in the hamam was wonderful and made the treatment relaxing and rejuvenating. At reception, Egemen met us on arrival, helped with our luggage, and made check-in easy. I travel often, and I’ve never had better check-in and check-out. İkbal Hotel was exceptionally clean, and the food was excellent, made with fresh local Turkish produce. It seemed to cater more to local guests, which worked well for us as Turkish speakers. We left feeling like a million dollars and can’t wait to return. I’d recommend İkbal Hotel in Afyonkarahisar for a peaceful, authentic, and luxurious break.
