Alice Hotel Antalya

For the price, this is a good hotel with big, clean rooms and friendly reception staff who speak English. If you have an issue, it’s better to go to the desk in person: they’ll happily sort it out then, while a phone request may get an “okay” but nothing happens. During our four days, toiletries were provided just once, and nobody cleaned the room. Even when we asked, they only emptied the bins. Breakfast was just okay, with bread, jam, one boiled egg, cheese, and fries. It needs something more filling. An omelette station could be added at low cost. Room service also needs work. The staff are helpful, but perhaps there aren’t enough of them. Overall, it’s a decent hotel.

This felt more like an apartment-style place than a proper hotel. It’s around an hour from the city, and there’s no pool or private beach. Breakfast was very basic and not worth the price, so it isn’t the place to choose for an all-inclusive stay. The room problems made the visit especially stressful. I spent four nights in four different rooms. The first night was fine, but on the second, the electricity went out. With no standard room free, staff moved me into a family room and said I’d have to move again the next day. I packed everything up for the next move. When I got back from the beach, though, I discovered my belongings had been taken to yet another room because of a water problem in the previous one. Nobody told me beforehand. Having staff handle personal items without my consent felt like a serious invasion of privacy, and repeatedly moving my things risked them getting lost or damaged. The final move without notice was completely unacceptable.

During my five nights at Alice Hotel Antalya, our room was cleaned only once. On the other days, housekeeping just left shampoo and tissues, which came across as careless. Breakfast was both sparse and uncomfortable. In the August heat, the restaurant had no proper air conditioning, only portable coolers that helped if you sat right beside one. There was no fruit or juice, just Turkish tea and water, and the only kid-friendly option was fries. When I brought this up, staff were dismissive and unhelpful. The hotel may have potential, but it needs to improve the cleaning, the breakfast, and especially how staff treat guests.

I reported that money had gone missing from our room. At first, you acknowledged that housekeeping had entered and moved our things and said you’d investigate. Then you claimed we had left the money behind, suggested I might have lost it outside, and threatened to report me if I posted a one-star review. You’re responsible for the housekeeper leaving the job, not me. But you blamed me after I reported the missing money a day later, by which time the housekeeper had already quit. I had to go into debt just to finish my trip. I’ll keep posting one-star reviews until I get my money back.
