Another hotel sent us to Gümüş Konak Hotel, where we were welcomed warmly. The father and daughter at reception were helpful, even calling around and booking a restaurant for us. Their suggestion was excellent. Our room was comfortable for a night, and breakfast had eggs, tea, and a nice range of choices. The staff were friendly too. It's well placed near the river and within walking distance of most places in Akyaka. Also, Tarçın, the friendly hotel dog, greets you at the entrance. We'd come back.

The beds were very hard for me. I'm small and need a softer bed, but aside from that I'd stay again. It's a clean, cozy, family-run place, with friendly staff, a nice pool area where breakfast is served, and a calm setting close to supermarkets, the river, and restaurants.

We stayed in July and had a lovely time every day. The hotel is cozy, and breakfast by the river was a tasty Turkish one. Whenever we needed help, the staff were there for us. Many thanks to them, and I'd definitely recommend a stay here.

The room itself was OK, but Wi-Fi was weak, and the breakfast wasn't tasty. They gave us just one omelet to share between the two of us. I also got a confusing email in Turkish after booking that seemed to say I owed 100 liras more than the euro price. I pointed out that it looked like a mistake, and they corrected it. What I hadn't realized when booking was that the room was on the basement level. It had a strong damp, cave-like smell that made us cough.

The room was clean and lovely, just right for a weekend. I had a great stay at Akyaka Gümüş Konak, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The amenities were great too.
