Kasabali Hotel

We had a really pleasant time, and the staff were understanding. The bungalow was a very reasonably priced way to get away from the city, with air conditioning, an outdoor stone barbecue, and a picnic table. They provided two towels, soap, and other basics in the toilet. It wasn't spotless, but it was acceptable. The TV had no signal, though maybe we just didn't know how to use it. We couldn't lock the door from inside, but despite reviews worrying us about curtains, there were two layers. The toilet door had no handle. I think the place may have only recently opened, so those sorts of shortcomings felt natural. It's quite far from the city, which means Yemeksepeti and Migros don't deliver. There's a Shell station and a grocery store nearby for snacks, or you can eat at the restaurant there.

The facilities were in terrible shape: broken air conditioning, refrigerator, and door, with insects and lizards inside. Everything seemed broken, but they took the money upfront. When we asked for these things to be fixed, the staff's tone changed. They said, "You paid for everything, and you're complaining about everything?" Then two employees, one Azerbaijani and one Uzbek, suddenly punched and assaulted me while I had female guests with me. I called the gendarmerie, and afterward they took the Uzbek national away. I have medical documentation from the hospital recording the assault, along with evidence from the gendarmerie. They accused me of swearing and tried to make me look guilty, apparently afraid the gendarmerie would come and issue a fine. They also lied to the gendarmerie, saying the young man didn't work there and they didn't have his address or phone number. The Azerbaijani receptionist knows nothing but lies and slander. They begged me for hours to withdraw my complaint because the gendarmerie was coming. I did withdraw it, for other reasons, despite their pleading and lies. They later started spreading lies, slander, and threats about me on Twitter to protect their reputation. They claim I am blacklisted at all hotels, but have no proof or camera footage. Maybe I'm not on their list after all. They keep lying to clear their names, and I hope people take this warning seriously before it's too late. I've never encountered such vile, filthy, dishonorable employees. This is a disgusting place, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. We were strangers who found them online and expected a relaxing holiday. Instead, we were assaulted and our holiday was ruined before it began. Don't go there, especially with family. They may bring in several people to make sure you can't do anything. I hope they get what they deserve. We found another hotel in the city and continued our holiday, thankfully. It was close to everything, spotlessly clean, everything worked, and it cost the same while providing quality service. The staff there weren't like these small-town hotel workers, who lack quality and manners. Don't believe the lies they wrote in response. You can decide whether to believe me or not, but I hope my warning isn't ignored.

We stayed in the main building, so this review isn't about the little cottages. It's a quiet, lovely spot, with no traffic noise, exhaust fumes, or parking hassles. The room was nicely furnished with modern, new equipment, though the toilet was very loose. We made our own breakfast, so I can't comment on that. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and there's a small supermarket a few kilometers away, with restaurants easy to reach too. You can tell a lot of care and work has gone into the whole property. We'd happily come back anytime. 👍🏻

At 1200 TL a night, there wasn't even breakfast. The hotel was being renovated and taking bookings until February 2025. The rooms have curtains but no windows, and you can hear the person next door as if they're right beside you. I absolutely wouldn't stay here, or even walk past it, if I come to Izmir again.
