The staff were surly and terrible. This was the worst hotel I could imagine going to, and staying on the street would have been better. Don't go, you'd waste your money and have an awful experience.

We spent five nights there, and the room was never cleaned. They didn't change the sheets or towels, or even empty the ashtray. We were lucky to have brought our own sheets and pillowcases. The walls, doors, and bathroom were neglected, the air conditioning wasn't adequate, and the service was nonexistent. Being close to the sea is the only reason to stay, but calling this a hotel is too generous. I never felt comfortable, and I'd absolutely avoid the place.

The owners were all warm and helpful, and Erhan Bey in particular knows Akyaka well and can tell you all about it. We visited with family after a friend recommended the place. We loved the location and would like to return next year if we get the chance.

Even one star feels too generous. We booked a bed and breakfast room, so why does breakfast only start at 10 in the morning? The staff and owner were indifferent, and I've never come across such an incompetent, awful place. The tourism directorate should inspect it or revoke its license.
