Istanbul Gönen Hotel

The room was spotless and comfortable, thanks to Goncha’s care. Everyone on staff was friendly, helpful, and quick to assist with a smile. I especially enjoyed dining there: Asiya was so kind and attentive, and made me feel welcome. The food was delicious and clearly prepared with care. I had a lovely stay and would happily recommend the hotel and restaurant to anyone after a relaxing, pleasant visit.

I spent seven days here and liked the spacious, clean, well-equipped rooms. Mucan was especially helpful and always had a bright smile. The hotel is a little far from places like Taksim Square, but that wasn’t a big problem for me. I’d recommend staying here and hope to come back. All the best, Claris.

The meals were consistently good, from breakfast and the restaurant to the fresh food delivered through reliable room service. We also enjoyed the pool and well-equipped gym. The whole place was stylish, beautiful, clean, and relaxing, with comfortable, well-kept rooms. The staff made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. They were polite, caring, and professional, and their English made everything easy. Bedirhan deserves a special mention for being kind, attentive, and professional throughout. The hospitality and comfort exceeded our expectations. I’d gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Turkey and would happily return.

The next morning, the reception manager was helpful and arranged a taxi to our next destination. Our check-in, though, was rough. We’d booked a non-smoking room, but it smelled strongly of smoke. When we asked to switch, reception sent a woman who sprayed a lot of strong chemical freshener on the carpet. The smell only lasted a couple of hours, and I ended up sleeping badly with a sore throat.
