The building looks nice, and check-in was quick and easy after a long day of travel. Inside, though, there were a lot of things that need attention: the shower handle was broken, with a sharp screw exposed on one side, and the shower head dripped in an uneven stream. The bedside lamps didn't work, the mattress sagged at the edges enough that you could roll off, and the bathroom floor and toilet seat had visible dirt and spots. The towels were stained as well as stiff and old, and the dining table was dusty. For what the area offers, I thought the place was overpriced. As a paying guest, I didn't feel respected by the way the amenities were maintained. If we'd brought children, I would have been horrified by the exposed sharp object in the shower and the poor hygiene. After I posted this review, management called both me and my husband and asked us to change it.

The people here are lovely and welcoming, and they helped us with everything. Parking is free, and the location makes it easy to walk to places in the center. The apartment itself needs repairs, though: the plumbing was in bad shape and unsteady, and there was mold in parts of the bathroom. At $80 a night, we expected a better quality apartment.

The location is hard to beat, with the river just 50 m away and Main Street 100 m away. The apartments were clean and modern, and I thought the hotel was perfect.

We could walk to the beach from here. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the staff were helpful.
