The beach is pretty good, and the boat trip is definitely worth trying. The big yellow shell was 300₺, the other large one was 600₺, the smaller ones were 100-100₺, and the little basket cost 350₺. There’s a clean toilet for 10₺; I think you can only pay in cash.

Akyaka has a beauty all its own, even though Çanakkale is lovely too. If you're after a nature escape, this is one of the best places to visit in Turkey. It has what tourists are looking for, and I’m sure you’ll have a great time here. 😉

I only spent a couple of hours there, but the place made an impression. There’s a broad coastline with a forest camp behind it, and the river runs into the sea right at the bay. The architecture stands out too, with its wooden ceilings and windows.

Billy’s Beach is a peaceful spot away from the main holiday beaches. It has nice sand and an easy entry into the sea, with no pebbles or rocks to deal with.

The water stays shallow, which is great if you like walking farther out from the beach. Such a lovely beach :)
