May was especially peaceful because there were so few guests. We were the only ones using the pool, breakfast was quiet, and the hotel beach was empty. The staff were kind, too. For my boyfriend’s birthday, they agreed to decorate the room a little and leave fruit as a gift from the hotel. It was a sweet gesture. Our room was large and clean, and we enjoyed the balcony view. The stay was great, and we were really happy with our choice. Breakfast was more than amazing, with so many options that it’s worth deciding what you want first if you don’t usually eat a lot. The location suited us since we didn’t plan to stay in the city center. But getting between the hotel and the center on foot would be very difficult, and it’s close to the road, so you can hear cars in the rooms and common areas, except the restaurant. One small tip: check the bathroom after cleaning. In our room there were shoe prints on the floor, which wasn’t a big issue but wasn’t pleasant. My sister’s room was fine, so it may not have been the case everywhere. I’d still give the stay five stars. Quality for the price was 100%.

The grounds are clean, the setting is attractive and peaceful, and the location offers beautiful views just a few minutes from the city center. Still, I wouldn’t return, given the service problems and avoidable hassles. The hotel manager and front desk staff were kind and professional, but poolside service was different. Servers spoke to guests like friends rather than paying customers, and being called “bro” felt unprofessional in an upscale hotel. One female poolside staff member was overly familiar and touched me in a way that made me uncomfortable, especially with my partner there. She addressed me without acknowledging my partner, which made the interaction awkward and inappropriate. Pool music got tiring, too. When the DJ wasn’t there, the same five songs played on repeat. The DJ only performed for a couple of hours in the late afternoon or early evening, leaving that loop on for most of the day. Bar liquor prices were extremely high. I don’t mind paying premium prices for top-shelf drinks, but $140 for five shots of Turkish tequila is excessive. Liquor costs less in the U.S., which says a lot. The beach area is pretty but tiny, with no room to sunbathe on the sand. The sunbathing area is upstairs above the sea. Breakfast was good, but the selection never changed and got monotonous after a few days. There was no free coffee in the room, not even instant. You had to buy expensive capsules or order room service, though even high-end hotels usually provide a couple of cups a day. Housekeeping in the room was inconsistent despite the clean grounds, and we had to remind staff several times to clean the shower and bathroom. Our room smelled strongly unpleasant when we checked in, so we requested a room change the next morning.

The pool, sunbeds, and greenery around Ada port hotel were beautiful and well maintained, and breakfast was delicious. Our experience was good overall, and hopefully we’ll return for better service. I’d booked expecting the high-end experience the hotel seems to aim for, but some things disappointed me. The welcome drink was as warm as tea. Perhaps it was bad luck, but on three of the four times I spoke with reception, an incoming call interrupted us and I had to wait, even though other staff were in the back office. We knew the room size from the booking, but the Deluxe room still felt small on arrival. We also learned at check-in that coffee and water cost extra. They provide half a liter per person per day, apparently because guests abused the previous arrangement. Other hotels manage this. I could understand that in a cheap hotel, but after paying 40k Turkish lira for five nights, having to pay for water and coffee in the room felt unwelcoming. It wasn’t about the money as much as the principle and feeling welcome. The mattress also moved when one partner turned, which made restful sleep difficult. I know mattress preferences vary, but hotels should make sure guests can sleep comfortably. I missed having a bowl of seasonal fruit in the room or somewhere available for Deluxe guests. Fruit is plentiful and inexpensive in Turkey. We brought our own, but carrying it from the city was a hassle because there’s no grocery store nearby. I also had to buy hair conditioner, body lotion, and tissues. The hotel doesn’t provide conditioner, which is useful with all the swimming. I’d packed instant coffee and milk, but if I’d known I’d need all those things, I’d have packed more. For a high-end stay, packing for a holiday shouldn’t feel like moving house. The room was generally clean, but small beach stones stayed in the bathroom for days and shampoo wasn’t refilled over the last two days. I didn’t mind much, since the shampoo smelled exactly like the shower gel, and in our room they seemed to use the same product for both. There was also a serious language barrier with most of the staff, and even simple English was a challenge. I’m sharing this as feedback, not with a heavy heart. I didn’t get the chance to meet a manager or supervisor during our stay.

The staff were helpful, the hotel was cozy and comfortable, and I liked the location. Many good beaches are within walking distance, and the hotel’s private beach is magnificent. The grounds are very clean, with a large pool and two restaurants. Breakfasts are hearty and delicious. Rooms are clean, the air conditioning runs quietly, and sound insulation is good. One thing I couldn’t understand was why dental kits weren’t brought to the room. I had to go and get them myself every day. I also discovered that not every room has bathrobes. There’s no currency exchange at the hotel, either. The staff barely speak English, though that didn’t really matter.

We stayed at Ada Port Hotel Alanya for nearly two weeks. The sea and mountain views were lovely, the breakfast was good, and a few staff members were professional. But these positives didn’t make up for the repeated problems with service, privacy, and basic comfort. We don’t recommend the hotel. The “Do Not Disturb” system on our door didn’t work. We reported it to the front desk several times, but it wasn’t fixed during our stay. Housekeeping rang every day and entered without permission if we didn’t answer right away, which compromised our privacy. Rooftop restaurant service was inconsistent. A few staff were polite and attentive, but the team overall seemed disengaged and sometimes noticeably unfriendly at both breakfast and dinner. When we were ill, the hotel gave us little flexibility or support. It took back-and-forth communication to get an included breakfast delivered to our room. The meal was just bread and spreads, and the staff member who brought it didn’t acknowledge us or offer any courtesy. A family member stayed with us for one night, and the room assigned to them was below acceptable standards. The air conditioning didn’t work, the bedding looked unclean, and the balcony door wouldn’t close, raising hygiene and safety concerns. Guests aren’t allowed to order food from outside, leaving them dependent on the hotel restaurant. The menu was limited, mostly meat and pasta in small portions at relatively high prices. Several times we chose not to eat because there was nothing suitable. Other dining options required a taxi to the city center, about 15 minutes away. Breakfast was good but only served until 10:00 AM. Any food or drink after that or in the room, including coffee, cost extra. Water in the room was supplied inconsistently. Although we were told cleaning would include two bottles, that happened only once in our stay. When we were unwell, we called for water and were charged for two small bottles.
