The beach restaurant at sunset was a highlight, and the beach service was included and well organized. The Alaaddin Beach Hotel also has a great spot, right by the sea but in the middle of the city, with spacious rooms, most looking out over the water. The buffet at breakfast and dinner had plenty of variety for different tastes, and everything was exceptionally clean. What really made it special was the friendly team, always smiling and ready to sort out guests’ unexpected needs in a pleasant way. The atmosphere was lovely too, with soft background music and a beautiful view of the sea. I come to Antalya for the weather, the water, and the welcoming locals, but this was the best hotel I found in the area. I’d absolutely recommend it. The only thing missing is a little corner for tourists to cry in when their holiday ends :))

The hotel is clean, in a good location and right on the beach, but I wouldn’t stay here again. The food was poor and often cold, and breakfast had very little choice. My husband and I were half board but ate out most of the time. There was also a rule saying towels couldn’t be left on unused sunbeds for over 20 minutes, yet they were sometimes left there most of the day. We couldn’t get a poolside sunbed all week and had to use the beach instead, which wasn’t ideal. It was meant to be adults-only, so I was puzzled to see families with children dining in the restaurant in the evenings. The owner apparently loves cats, which is fine, but I’m allergic. They kept me sneezing, and some walked across our table while we were trying to eat. That felt unhygienic and unacceptable.

The food was passable, though repetitive, and breakfast was worse. The hotel itself is cute but tiny, and the downstairs rooms face the pool, so there’s constant noise on top of music playing nonstop from 8 a.m. until midnight. Staff came across as tired and unwelcoming, and kept pushing guests to buy things. I’d tell anyone bothered by loud music or that kind of sales pressure to stay away. Alanya also left a bad impression: cheap hotels packed next to each other, expensive fake goods, Turkish wine scams, mediocre bars and restaurants, and possibly adulterated alcohol. It felt like mass tourism at its worst. On top of that, the trip to and from the airport takes three hours.

We left the hotel after one night, and the holiday was ruined. Our room was unbearably hot because the air-conditioning display showed an error. We reported it right away, but neither of the two reception men who looked at it could fix it. One said it would be dealt with online the next day. With no other room available, we were given two filthy fans. One made a helicopter-like noise, so we barely slept. At breakfast, a very rude female receptionist accused us of damaging the wall control and demanded payment for a replacement, even though only hotel staff had touched it. We met with the hotel manager and our TUI guide as a witness. They told us to pay €150 and leave or they would call the police. We paid and left. TUI did not help us find another hotel or rebook our flight, saying the contract meant the hotel couldn’t do that. We were left without the hotel or the all-inclusive stay we’d paid for, and spent a day dealing with a false accusation before buying new tickets home. The hotel was tired and dirty, the food was bad, and staff were rude and unfriendly. Its photos look old. I’d warn others to find somewhere else. Never again Turkey for us.

The whole place was clean, well cared for, and had a relaxing feel. The food was a real standout, with a big range of tasty choices every day, and the staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help. The beach is just steps away and the location is spot on. I had a fantastic stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great holiday spot. Turks really know hospitality.
