The location was a real plus, just 70 meters from the sea and about a ten-minute walk from bar street. As far as I could tell, the street goes to a private beach. We only worked that out on our last holiday day, went in there for free, and nobody asked who we were. The price seemed fair for the conditions, and we didn’t notice dirt, but the bathroom had no light and its door didn’t lock. Luckily it had frosted glass, otherwise showering would have meant sitting in the dark. The balcony was tiny, with room for two to sit comfortably. I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone very fussy. We were four male friends who only came back to sleep, so we didn’t mind too much. They mostly host families, but I don’t think it’s family-friendly. We’d booked for three people, but they gave us a cushion from the lobby sofa for the fourth. When we refused that, they brought a broken bed from another room. The room was too small for four anyway. The AC had no curtain, leaked, couldn’t be adjusted, and the temperature couldn’t be changed, so it felt inevitable someone would get sick. Mr. Hasan couldn’t get up early, so we couldn’t understand what he was saying then, but later in the day and at night he was friendly and tried to help. Thanks.

The hotel is right in the city center, with everything within walking distance, and the location is really good for the reasonable price. It’s near the sea, and the pool is just as nice. Rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. I recommend it.

The nearby beach is really dirty. Our three-night booking was one of the worst reservation experiences we’ve had. The rooms looked nothing like the photos, less than 30% similar, and everything was run-down and super dirty. Nobody cleaned during our stay, and it seemed they didn’t have towels to replace ours. Breakfast was identical every day: literally one boiled egg, three cucumber pieces, three tomato pieces, five olives, a tiny slice of cheese, one serving each of butter, honey, and jam, coffee or tea, and lots of white bread. The air conditioner faced the bed and made the room freezing at night, with no way to adjust it. A real nightmare.

We come from Denmark every year for our holiday and stay at Alanya City otel. It’s a lovely hotel, right in the center and very close to the sea and bar street. The staff are helpful and everything is very clean. See you next year!

The atmosphere felt warm, the location is excellent, and the staff are friendly. I liked it a lot. They serve breakfast too, and the price is very reasonable. I recommend it.
