Almaris Resort Hotel

This place apparently isn’t even a hotel. My 11-day trip starting June 17 was cancelled because the supposed hotel was just a stand-up pad, and had even had a fire. It’s awful that tour operators take early bookings and mislead people. What are they selling, and why deceive customers? I went all the way to see this “hotel,” which turned out to be a scam.

Friends, this hotel doesn’t exist as an operating hotel. It’s still under construction, and they’re selling it even though they’ve decided not to open it. We managed to get our money back, but it took a lot of effort, and the way people spoke to us changed when we raised cancellation. The contract is one-sided, and we still don’t understand what’s going on. Another agency is selling it, then can’t send customers there when the time comes and redirects them to other ridiculous hotels. We refused that, tracked down the selling company, got the owner and manager’s phone numbers, went to their locations, and kept following up until we got a refund. Not everyone will have the same luck. Use known sites such as ETS, Tatilbudur, or Tatilsepeti, and book online instead of completing things by phone so your rights are protected. Also, Ms. Selda, the general manager of Almaris Resort, said the company had been told well in advance that the hotel would not open.
